Jazmin Carrera has been a native of St. Petersburg, FL since 2002. She is a third-year student studying Fine Art with a concentration in Photography at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville. The Lost Birthday Roll is a series of digital collages comprised of older film images juxtaposed with newer digital images. These images were found on a roll of film given to the artist by her dad who was unsure of what would be on them.
After developing the images, she found pictures of herself and what looked to be her fourth birthday party. This series combines the old with the new and allowed the artist to revisit these memories and digitally fabricate new ones. |

Telling stories has been my passion for as long as I can remember. Oral traditions and passing down one's identity and experience is a divine calling in Jewish culture. Born in Israel, I moved to the United States as a child, though I often visited home. This photo, "Valley of Tears" shows the view of the valley between Mount Bental and into the neighboring country of Syria. This area received this moniker after it became the site of a major battle in the 1973 Yom Kippur War, known as the Valley of Tears Battle, which was fought between the 6th and 9th of October. Although massively outnumbered, the Israeli forces managed to hold their positions and on the fourth day of the battle the Syrians withdrew, just as the Israeli defenses were almost at the point of collapse.
Kat Tarbet is a studio artist based in Jacksonville, FL, and a photographer who creates elaborate tableaus before the camera.
"My work focuses on themes surrounding the role of technology and social media in our daily lives. It also frequently explores the duplicity of how we present ourselves versus how others perceive us. I prefer to approach the work as an installation, rather than a photograph. The camera is just a tool used in the illusion." https://katculture.format.com/5752240-portfolio @kat.culture |

Kim Hurt is an artist, curator and art consultant from Jacksonville, FL. A third generation photographer born and raised in Texas, she studies sculpture and photography at the Abilene Christian University.
Through surreal depictions of the human form Kim seeks to prompt the viewer to look inward and examine attitudes toward purity, nature, isolation and the longing for connection. Kim is a former photography instructor at Texas State Technical College in Brownwood, previous gallery director of ARTSee & Shop and currently maintains a professional photography studio in Jacksonville. With this series of images I wanted to explore the idea of growth and change and how painful, rewarding and necessary it can be. I want the viewer to feel that the pain they have experienced in life is validated and to think back on what good things in life have come about because of the progress they made during the times they struggled. In this piece I am using myself as a model, as well as live roses, potting soil and a good dose of Photoshop. I have been exploring self portraiture lately and this piece is part of a series of images using plants exploding from or twining around a human body. I use surreal self portraiture to take a personal experience and make it a universal emotional statement many people can relate to. |

Neha's work has been selected for juried exhibitions nationwide, including shows in San Francisco, CA, Astoria, OR, and multiple appearances in the prestigious Krappy Kamera Exhibition at New York City's Soho Photo Gallery. She is currently working on a mixed media project incorporating cats and collage.

"Look Up, Down, Left, or Right and there's always a moment to capture. I gravitate to allowing the subject(s) of my images to live and move as if I'm not present, as I do not want to manipulate anything outside the settings of my camera." www.UpDwnLftRght.com www.Instagram.com/Jaron_A_Mo |
